Falafel Pita Wrap

Ingredients
Pita bread- 2
Falafel tikki- 6
Hummus- 4tsp
Tahini sauce- 4 tsp
Garlic sauce - 2 tsp
Bell pepper/Capsicum (cut in slices) - 1/2
Cabbage (sliced )- 1/2 cup
Onion(sliced)- 1 medium

Preparation

Mix Tahini sauce and garlic sauce
cut Pita bread as shown below
heat the bread from both sides
Place an aluminium foil on the platform and  place the bread on the foil
Spread Hummas on one side and Tahini and garlic sauce mixture on the other


Place cabbage and bell pepper over the Tahini sauce
Place 3 Falafel tikkis on it
Place onion over the tikkis
Top it with some hummus

cover with the other side of  pita
 Wrap using foil

Repeat the same with other pita bread
The roll has good amount of sauce in it.The roll can be served with Hummus and cold drink if required


Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:
garlic(chopped)-10
Tomato (pureed/Grated)- 1
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil = 1 tsp

Preparation

Mix all ingredients (except oil) in a bowl


Heat oil in a pan and add the mixture in the pan. Fry till the flavor comes


Can be used as chutney or in Pita

Tahini Sauce

Ingredients :
Sesame seed - 4tbsp
Olive oil- 2 tbsp
Parsley (Chopped)- 1tbsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Salt and peper to taste

Preparation:
mix all ingredients and grind in thick paste

Serve with Falafel or apply in Pita. can be used as bread spread.

Veggie Falafel Tikki

Boiled chickpea (soaked overnight)- 1 cup
Green chilli (chopped) -2
Ginger (chopped)- 2 tsp
Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1/8 cup
Corn flour - 1 tbsp
All purpose flour - 2tbsp 
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
salt and pepper to taste 

oil for frying

Preparation:
Heat oil in pan
Mix all the ingredients(do not mix oil ) in a bowl (crush chickpea while mixing) to make dough
Make small balls from the dough

When the oil is hot enough for frying(try to test with a small dough., drop a pinch of dough in oil, if it comes up immediately , the oil is hot ), start frying the falafel tikki in batches

Fry till the colour changes to light brown

Remove from the pan and soak excess oil

Serve with Chutney/Tahini Sauce/ Hummus or use it in Pita Falefel roll
